We began our Europe-trip 2013 with the car down to Öresundsbron (the bridge between Sweden and Denmark). It was the first time we went over this bridge.

Our first stop on our trip was Hamburg, where we spent the night.
Day two we went to Drielandenpunt that was so much more than what we had expected. In this stunning landscape the three countries Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium meets. It is also the highest point in the Netherlands – 327 meters above sea level.
—
The sun was shining and the kids were happy to pull on their bathing suits and cool down in the fountains.
Därefter gick vi naivt in i labyrinten.

Next we went naively into the labyrinth. We could not have imagined that it would be so hard to find the middle.
Överallt i labyrinten fanns vackra skulpturer och porlande vatten.

Everywhere in the maze were beautiful sculptures and rippling water.
—
Sometimes we had to run over the fountains, hoping to come over without getting wet.
Hmm, vart går vi nu?
—
Hmm, where do we go now?
Efter mycket irrande nådde vi vårt mål.
—
After much wandering, we reached our goal.

The views are spectacular and the small town of Vaals is adorable. We are unable to capture this beauty with the camera and give it justice, but it must be visited.
